Yep, it happened. I don't know how! It happened so fast. We have tried taking off the training wheels before at Nicolas' request but never last long. But one night he wanted to try again and even with the extreme heat I was not going to give up on him. Our friends had told us that she just held on to the back of her son's bike in their cul de sac for two hours and got it all done in one evening. So that was what I was going to do. And it was HOT! After about 15 minutes I needed a break and I let go. He was not balancing so I thought he would catch himself as he fell sideways. Um....

And went and went and went. This is about 10 minutes after he "got it". I can't believe we didn't have our camera or video camera there! Guess we didn't think it would work so quickly. I had to run home and stock up on photo equipment.
Lexi and Julia do a dance of joy!
And Nicolas is very proud! I loves to ride his bike as much as possible now!
Sad part is that Lexi also learned to ride her bike with training wheels that night! Um... Nicolas trumped her and I got no photos of it. Will make up for that soon!
