Lexi Lingo

Lexi amuses me so much with all her verbal rantings. I do not remember to write them down as badly as I want to. I try so hard to take my good friend Erica's lead on this but seem to fail miserably. Going to try and catch a few amusing ones quickly tonight.

At breakfast Lexi was trying to explain to me why she needs to grow up faster then I want her to by telling me matter of factly: "It's a 5 year old's world out there, Mom!!!"

Tonight when she wanted to take her "fuzzy blanky" to dinner with us and I explained to her that we were leaving it at home she said "But Mommy I might yawn and then everyone will hear me."

Later, Nicolas seemed a bit flustered that his chocolate and his vanilla ice cream was running together in the bowl, Shawn simply said "it is yummy that way." Lexi looked so proud and said "Daddy, you are so smart."

These are small musings but I am trying to get in the habit here.

Oh... I do want to share one from a friend that cracked me up! It was a nice day and she had all her house windows open and the attic fan on. Her daughter came in and started closing the windows in the room. The mom looked at her and said "why are you doing that? I have the attic fan on and want the windows open." The daughter looked at her concerned and said "Mom, I was on the computer and something popped up and told me that I needed to shut all my windows right now." Yep!
