We all love Christmas Lights. In fact it is one of my favorite parts of the holiday! I admit to being annoyed when people put them up and actually turn them on before Thanksgiving. But the moment that last bite of turkey is digested then I am ALL for lighting up every house on every street. And I am all for leaving them lit through the entire drab and dreary day of the cold winter season. I get kind of sad when all of them are taken down and the winter nights look so barren and dark. So with Shawn's encouragement, we take frequent trips to look at lights.
This night (one week before Christmas) we decided to take the kids to see them at Tilles Park in St. Louis. I do think this might be our favorites. Nicolas loves The Shrine (and of course I have a special place for those since that is where Shawn proposed to me) but both kids loved all the colors and craziness of Tilles Park. Grandpa Jim took a ride with us and we were one of the first ones there after dark.

They loved the lights and sounds and glory of it all!
And then after a side trip to a few known awesome set ups on private homes... and stop at McD's for the bathroom...

They were out cold on the drive home. Luckily we predicted that and dressed them in pj's for easy bedtime transition.
