Cinderella and Her Singing Prince

Our Fourth of July was celebrated with friends and family

Nicolas has quite a fan club of princesses!

What a beauty!

.

We went to our friends house for a small BBQ. Margaret and Todd served up a yummy meal and fun for the kids. Their daughter Allison loves dress up and Lexi took advantage of her Princess Stash of dresses, crowns, shoes, wands and jewelry. Doesn't she look like a beauty in pink? At this moment she is admiring the singing talents of her big brother as he serenades her.

I made a salad/salsa for the BBQ tonight. It was very well received. I want to share it!

I did substitute canned corn (two varieties) for the fresh. I double the recipe and loved the leftovers!
We all went to Troy to watch the fireworks. Grandma Birdie met us all there to watch too. We went very near her house and were able to exit rather quickly. The kids loved them and asked when we would go see more. The also loved the glowing bracelets and such that grandma brought to help pass the time ahead of time.
