Another typical day in my life with Lexi!
Dance class is full of Lexi and her comments every week. She wants to share a new dance move or something. This week was no different.
"Let Us Pray"
Teacher: What was your food today? (she asks every week to see if they had "power" food for powerful kicks.)
Lexi: I pray for my food every day!
(and lately she has... she stops us every meal to say her school prayer. God Bless her for that!)
"Coloring Your Hair"
They are working on front roll-overs. A little girl starts heading over before she is in proper safe position and the teacher is ready to help her. She grabs the little girl to pull her back down and says...
"Oh my! You little ones give me gray hair when you do that! See..." bends over to point to top of head "see this one right here? That one is now gray and says the name Grace on it."
Lexi pipes up from the wall "And that pink one right there says Lexi!"
"Visiting Ism"
Throwing in a little "Jack-ism" that made me laugh and cry! Lexi's dearest friend Jack came over to play a short time tonight. They were playing downstairs. Lexi was getting all dressed up and Jack was to play her guitar music while she danced. He was singing a made up song about how beautiful she was. Then, after getting in the car to go home, he told his mom,
"Lexi is so beautiful that I could die in her arms!"
Oh my! They are so adorable together! I could just eat them up.

Oh my. Laughing still as I type this over Jack dying in her arms! Has HE been to Sundance like his momma? =)
