Maryville Homecoming is a First

Lexi goes to one of her first parades. Okay, she was in the Edwardsville Halloween Parade two years ago. And then last year I think we got to the Glen Carbon Homecoming but it must not have made quite the impact because she stood there astonished at this parade and said,

"Mommy, I am just standing here and they are throwing candy RIGHT at me!"

Of course! Wouldn't you throw your candy right to someone who insists on wearing a pink tutu, sparkly tennis shoes and a pink Super Girl cape to her parade?

Nicolas also felt the need to wear his batman cape. Aren't they cute?

They got their faces painted. Lexi was a matching flower and Nicolas supported his Cardinals. This was the first time he allowed them to actually paint on his face. Oh... that is NOT a cigarette in his mouth. I need to get better at photoshop so I could have removed the guilty sucker stick!

Mommy and Lexi go for a ride on the Ferris Wheel.

Nicolas takes his ride with Daddy.
