As most know there were a lot of sad hearts recently as our earthly world lost a young soul, Macie Crowe. As her family and friends mourn; her family also struggles with financial issues due to the loss. Many friends from school and elsewhere decided to put on a wonderful fundraiser at the YMCA for the family. It was a way to bring a community together and raise money for a wonderful family. The kids enjoyed the free play time in the gymnastics room, bounce houses and games in the gym and Nicolas' first shot at the BIG rock wall.

Here is his second attempt. He got about 1/2 way up. His hands started to hurt so he came down. He is looking forward to trying again!

Lexi loved, loved the bounce house slide! Sorry, bad photo. Didn't bring our SLR to this and the lighting vs the big yellow slide wasn't a winning combination.
Nicolas smiles after his first attempt on the rock wall. He didn't give up. After a rest he wanted to try again.
If you are interested in helping this family please feel free to send donations to contact the First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust at 618-288-5500 or 2930 N. Center St., Maryville, IL 62062. Ask for the "Crow Family Memorial Fund."
