Lexi gets to sleep in her brother's bed after a long, fun-filled Saturday!
We woke up to soccer again today. Mommy forgot her camera... but remembered it was my day to bring the juice for the team. Yeah! And of course the day I don't have the camera then Nicolas scores his first goal. But thanks to Delaney's mom we do have a photo to share. But at least once again we had family there to see it. Yeah for Aaron and Mary! Actually, this was our biggest crowd yet. There had to have been extra family members for every kid on the team. The ALL got to see my Nicolas' first goal! Yeah!
This only clinched my decision to go and buy a small, digital camera to keep in my purse and not rely on remembering to carry this big ol' SLR camera to all important events.
Only one more soccer game to go (October 18th). Hope he scores again with my camera pointed and ready.
After soccer we played at home and then forced two little nappers down for the count. Because Saturday night was camping at Sunset Hills. Shawn took the tents up during the naps and got it all ready. Then we all went up to play, visit with friends, eat and play some more. The kids had a blast! Nicolas loved playing football with Jack and Tyler. And he loved playing everything else with Allison. The hayrides were a treat they enjoyed over and over.
Lexi and Mommy headed home late. And as a special treat Lexi got to sleep in big brother's bed since she wasn't camping too. No worries! He gave his permission first. She was out before the lights went off. Oh... and up the next morning before the sun, I'm afraid. Ready to start another big day for the Vetter family.
