TNT Girl's Night

I have a new favorite website... http://www.houseparty.com/. Not because it promotes a specific product (tonight was the season premiers of TNT's "The Closer" and "Saving Grace"). But I love it now because it promotes friendships and fun together. I was going to bed tonight and looked into the mirror only to remember that I had only moments to shower (and shave thankfully) before final prep for tonight's TNT sponsored Girl's Night. A tad bit of make-up but my hair was left damp and pulled back in a headband. Not like me at all.

Tonight was more important to me that the food be ready, the drinks be poured and the goodies in place then that my hair be in place. Tonight was about fun and friends. Tonight when Shawn took a last minute photo of the girls (except for Sarah and Julie who had just left when we thought of it), we sat on the couch that held our fun for the evening. At that moment the last thought that went through my head was what my hair looked like. As the smile on my face shows... I was truly happy. Inside I felt beautiful no matter what.

I lift my glass to good friends, good eats and a good ol' TV show (okay "Saving Grace" left us all a little confused but "The Closer" was worth the watch as usual!)

These Pink Marshmallow Kabobs were a hit! Just dip pink marshallows into melted chocolate and then into sprinkles (optional). Then cool in the fridge. Stack onto a skewer with fresh strawberries before serving. I put them into a glass vase filled with sugar around styrofoam. The sugar was a nice accent plus could be use for strawberry dipping.
